Snow Skiing!
Well my time has finally come! Brandon's surprise Christmas/Bonus trip has come and gone and with it was my first attempt (successful might I add) at snow skiing. It was really a lot of fun! We started off on the green bunny slope which was pretty lame and bored Brandon and I rather quickly. We then decided to test our luck and try the blue (this was a VERY small resort and only had one green, four blue and three black slopes all off two peaks)... we asked some teens (mistake #1) which blue was the easiest... and of course, they steered us astray... luckily, we made it down the hill alive, terrified and drenched in about an hour!!! We took a pizza and soda break then asked an employee which blue was the easiest... he directed us down the other peak! We got to the top and looked around... not nearly as death defying as the first, and off we went... we went pretty slowly, but didn't fall nearly as much! It was a success and we ended up going up and down several more times! We absolutely loved it and we aren't half bad!
Much Better!

This weekend
We had a very fun and fast paced weekend beginning with my getting to go see Ted Neeley in Jesus Christ Superstar! It was fantastic! I can't believe that at 65 years old, he is still able to do all that he did! Thanks for letting me tag along, Mom!
Next, Branson and I went to Ally's sheep show all day Saturday! She was totally nervous, but ended up taking second place in both of her classes! Way to go!!! Branson loved looking, mimicking and petting all the animals! (Pics to follow after Courtney sends them my way)
Third, Mark and Mary came down from Washington and so Branson and I were able to go and hang out with them for a bit on Saturday... hanging out with old friends is such fun and relaxing! We were glad to be able to see them while they were in town and are planning a trip out to see them next year! (I promise, we are coming Mary!) Hopefully Mark will send me pics from his dad so that I can post them here as well.
Sunday was all about napping and football! Way to go Cardinals! Good Luck against the Steelers!

Just a Lazy weekend
Branson and I have gotten in the habit of going to the park on an almost daily basis (weather permitting). The other day, Brandon joined us and was less than enthusiastic when Mom brought out her camera (AGAIN!) Oh well, that's the way we roll in this family! SAY CHEESE!
Hold on tight, Branson!
Branson enjoyed putting the wood chips on his head... what a boy!
