Babysitting Harper

Branson's friend Harper came over yesterday and they had a blast at the park! Wanted to share a few pictures.

This picture is actually of Branson when he was in time out! He wasn't listening well and ran into the parking lot after being told not to. It was too cute not to share!

Where a Kid can be a Kid!

Today we went to Chuck E Cheese to celebrate Walker's 2nd Birthday since we couldn't make it to his actual party. Branson had a great time playing with his friends!

Big Changes in one year!

APRIL 2008

Can you believe the difference in each of these boys?!

Driving the Trucks

Branson enjoyed driving the variety of big trucks that Dawson and Ashton have at their house while we were there for the weekend. He also loved the bounce house, sprinkler and of course the cake!!!

Catch me if you can!

We are on our way home from Ashton and Dawson's bday party right now. These Biggs boys are excellent drivers and have been for awhile! Last year, Branson had no clue what to do... this year, he got the part about pushing the button to make it go, but not the steering part... He's getting there though!

In Rememberance

Sadly, today marks the 7th Anniversary of the passing of my beloved Grandmother... Everyday I wish she could be here to see what a wonderful young boy we have. She would absolutely have loved him. While she can't be with us here, we know she is watching out for us from above.
We love you and miss you Grandma.
Keep an eye on our little angels until they can join us again down here.

Playing Hookie

Well Branson's Daycare worker called me this morning after I had only been at work for about an hour saying Branson had gotten sick twice already. The rule is three times and he has to go home and can't come back the next day. So I decided to go and pick him up and work from home so that he could at least have a chance of going back tomorrow.
I picked him up and there didn't seem to be anything wrong with him at all! I think he just wanted to go home. He does have a little cough in the morning, but other than that seems fine! Well except that he wanted to be the center of attention and got mad enough at the computer to actually break off our wireless card! URG! Better parenting skills would say to not leave the computer in his reach... I'll make a note to myself for next time!
We went to the park a couple of times and he really wanted to join the other kids in the swimming pool (not a good idea for me looking like I do - nor really for a slightly sick kid)... so instead I blew up his little wading pool and let him play. He really doesn't like the sensation of being wet, so it didn't last long, but I got some good pics regardless.

Then our friend Erin came over for a bit and back to the park we went. They enjoyed playing hide-n-seek together. It was so funny to watch Branson hide his eyes so that he could "count". He was kinda cheating though because he kept peeking to see which way she went. He'll get the concept soon enough!

This one was too cute not to share... Can you see his eye where he is peeking at me from his hiding spot??

Boating on the Lake

So, this weekend we trailered our boat all the way to the coast, just in case we needed to tow Lee's boat in from the water... Luckily we didn't end up needing it, so it stayed trailered. Well with the bad weather, we didn't really end up spending a lot of time on the boat at all and so on Sunday we decided to swing by Lake Travis and put the boat in (hey we needed to rinse off all the salty residue, didn't we?!) There isn't much water in the lake, but still enough for us to drive around. Branson has always loved the boat and this year is no different! Here are a couple of pics of the Little Captain as well as one from this time last year... How things change in a year!

Hunting Easter Eggs

Branson really enjoyed searching for Easter Eggs as well... He knew that they all had candy in them and in fact lovingly refers to the eggs themselves as "Candy". He was a little baffled when the eggs broke in his hands and confetti fell to the ground. He was a good sport when we showed him just what confetti eggs were all about!

Easter Baskets

Branson actually got three Easter baskets this year (though I only have pics of two). He was very excited about the toys and candy!
