First day of School!

The kids both started school today! While I am very used to dropping them off at daycare, this experience was different... they both walked in with their backpacks and lunches and were so grown up! I honestly can't believe that Branson will be in Kindergarten next year! So glad that I am getting to spend this year with him!

Rangers game and MercyMe

We had a blast (although we nearly melted) at the Mercy Me concert and Rangers baseball game! Although we didn't get to stay til the end to actually see the Rangers win the game, we all had fun! So glad Nana got to go with us!

Photo Fun Time

With all this free time I've been getting more involved in pretending I know how to take pictures... I do pretty well in outdoor settings, but indoor lighting is my arch nemisis... I've been playing around with lighting and props this week and here are a few I'll share....

Going Bonkers!!

Found a new fun place to play in Lewisville... Going Bonkers! Both kids really enjoyed it and I was surprised at how well Aubrie climbed by herself (well with me nearby of course!)

Frisco Sci-Tech Discovery

With all the heat we've been trying to stay indoors... this place was pretty cool for the kids though it was pretty loud!

Ft Worth Museum

Our cousins and the kids went to the FW Museum and had a great time! It has been such a blessing to spend this summer hanging out with them more and really building those bonds that will certainly last a life time!

Tball Practice

Branson began tball this week and has successfully completed two practices! He says "I like them ok, but they make me tired... I really want to play a game!" Go GIANTS!!!

Planet Pizza

One of the perks of my job is trying out new places... while this place was overpriced and a little dingey.... the kids white socks were still white when we were done playing and they had fun on the little rides... In the meantime it took me back in time to Jungle Jims which was my first real job! Fun times!

New Photography...

Had fun taking maternity pics of a friend today... really getting the bug to do a little ameatur photography on the side... working on a name for my company now... :) more to come if I make the move! For now, its Friends Photos for Free!

Sky Diving!!!

When Ally graduated in May, she decided that her graduation party would be a skydiving adventure! Since most of us had already been once, Jason, Ally and myself were the only ones willing to foot the bill and the face the fear of jumping again!

Summer Time Fun in the Sun!

As you all know it is excruiatingly HOT here! We've been keeping as cool as possible in the pool, but even that has its limits because it means you actually have to go OUTSIDE!!!! We really love swimming though so its worth it!
