Its all about the shoes!
Just thought you would like to see how crazy he is about shoes... after the not so successful costume, Branson was walking around in only his diaper and quickly brought Brandon his shoes to put on... :) I have created a monster!

Rehearsal for Halloween
Well we bought Branson his Halloween costume this weekend, and it is a good thing we did... he definitely needs practice wearing it! He was very interested in putting it on initially, but quickly changed his mind! Hopefully we can work with him slowly throughout the month so that he can go trick-or-treating on Halloween!
Kickball Days
Brandon used to be my biggest fan at kickball, but now with Branson it is hard for him to be at the games. Thursday they were both able to make the game to cheer mom on!!! My coach bought Branson a shirt when he was born, but it was too big then... it does fit now! Can't you tell how excited he was to be there?!

41 facts
Everyone I know who blogs has been blogging about 60 facts about themselves... I must admit that I too took time to come up with 60 very boring, surface level facts about myself that I will not take the time to share here... I was challenged by my officemate (Erin) to come up with 60 (or so) facts about Branson. I am certain that I can make these more interesting and what better way to spend my time at work but thinking about the boy I love most in the world! So let's see what I can come up with...
1. Branson's favorite animal is a dog... or anything he can call a dog.
2. Branson's favorite consonant is D. When he doesn't know a word (which is multiple times a minute) he uses, Da, Do, etc to try to communicate.
3. Branson is getting very good at throwing balls... though he isn't very accurate in his aim.
4. Branson has his Dada's attitude... a little too serious sometimes.
5. Branson learns WAY to fast and his parents WAY too slow... they say your first kid is the one you are supposed to practice on, right? Branson sure is giving us a lesson or two of Parenting 101!
6. Branson is shorter than most of the other kids his age... okay he is shorter than ALL of the other kids his age! I'm sure he will hit his growth spurt one day!
7. Branson loves his daycare worker, Rosa... sometimes (often) I have working mom's guilt because he likes to be with her so much... but everyday when I pick him up now, he wants to go with me!
8. Branson loves to see his parents walk into the room.
9. Branson loves Liberty (our dog) -- even though she makes it very clear that she does NOT like him.
10. Branson loves Cinca (our cat) -- and she loves him!
11. Branson loves to ride in his push car.
12. Branson thinks that he can push the push car, the stroller and the shopping cart.
13. Branson wakes up in a good mood in the morning.
14. Branson sleeps all night (most nights) and has since his 1st bday.
15. The first thing Branson wants to do in the morning is dance.
16. The second thing Branson wants to do in the morning is put on his "shoes".
17. Branson is in the habit of changing his shoes when he gets home from school everyday!
18. Branson likes to listen to very annoying children's music in the car... his favorite song is If You're Happy and You Know It... thanks Nonna!
19. Branson is learning to jump.
20. Branson is a fearless climber.
21. Branson is clumsy.
22. #20 and #21 combine to mean that Branson gets hurt often.
23. Branson has two friends named Harper.
24. Branson loves to play with other kids, though he is kind of bossy.
25. Branson is good at sharing... sometimes.
26. Branson sleeps in a toddler bed with a tent.
27. Branson loves to laugh.
28. Branson loves to give kisses.
29. Branson is the most easy going child I know... he really does go with the flow.
30. Branson loves to steer anything with a wheel... cars, boats, etc.
31. Branson has been going out on the lake since he was less than 9 months old.

33. Branson has two wonderful sets of grandparents --- Nonna & Papa and Nana & Pawpaw -- I know confusing right?!

37. Branson was born 2 months early but has more than made up for it.
38. I don't think Branson is interested in having siblings, but I am!!!

Waterloo with Friends
Last night we met with our friends from church at the Waterloo Restaraunt at 360 and 2222. We had never been to this Austin hotspot, but enjoyed the company and the food. Branson's friends Harper and Ty were there and they all enjoyed playing on the playscape. Here are a few shots from last night.

We always knew....
This weekend, Branson and I went to an "evaluation" for the a modeling agency to see if he was marketable... Of course we already knew that he was the cutest baby in the world, but now we have been validated by professionals! I am sure that this won't really turn into anything, but we did get a call back and I will go to the meeting next week to learn more about what they have to offer. I sure think it would be cute to see him in a magazine or on a commercial... We will see what comes of this. Nothing ventured nothing gained! Maybe I can be a stay at home mom after all!
