Galveston trip

While Brandon took my dad and the other boys fishing at Port O'Connor, the girls (+Branson) headed off to Galveston! We played at the pool, checked out the Kemah Boardwalk then did Moody Gardens! It was a very successful trip and fun was had by all!!!

Iowa 4th of July

We travelled this weekend to Iowa to introduce Aubrie to her great grandmother. Branson met her a couple years ago but this was the first time for Aubrie and the other grandkids!

Washington DC

Brandon was appointed to the AHCA Emerging Leaders National Board (only 28 spots nationwide!) so he had to take a business trip to DC to meet with legislators to talk about policies and learn the ropes! Since I have nothing better to do and I have awesome parents who love watching our kids, I joined Brandon! It also happened to be a good way for us to celebrate our anniversary!

While in DC, I took the train to NYC to visit a friend! We enjoyed hanging out, having pedicures, and seeing Jersey Boys!

We went to see a comedy show on our last night there that wasn't very funny, but Brandon and I had the perfect evening enjoying dinner and blueberry mojitos beforehand (don't comment until you have tried them, they are oddly delicious!)

Pool time fun!

CC and her boys have been coming to swim a lot lately and the kids really enjoy spending this special time with their cousins! Pools are great during this heatwave!

Lake Ray Roberts/Fathers Day Fun

We've enjoyed spending time at the local lake too! We've never been out by ourselves until this year and we love the freeing feeling of having no agenda and no one to please :) Not that we don't still like going out with friends too :)

Denton Air Show

Got to do a little local fun by attending the Denton Air Show. The kids were cranky, but the show was surprisingly good!

POC Fishing

Went to Port Oconnor again this weekend to have a little family time. Kids had a great time making the live well on Papa's boat into their jacuzzi! Brandon caught a BIG shark!!! Although it was our 7 year anniversary, have no fear, Brandon and I are Washington DC bound in another week to celebrate!
