Branson and Aubrie

Being home is soooo much easier than being at the hospital!!! I can do everything, including blogging, that I want to do! Brandon and Branson played hookie today and stayed home for a relaxing family day! What a great start to the weekend!

WE ARE HOME!!!

Baby Aubrie graduated from the NICU yesterday at 4:30pm. We are home and had a very peaceful night. Thats one thing you can say about having NICU babies... they sure do come home on a nice schedule... she eats every four hours and sleeps like a champ in between! Branson is loving having her home as long as he is getting some of the attention... he has been a little clingly but has also been very helpful. This morning I asked him to go upstairs and get her blanket and he brought his down and said he wanted her to use it! what a sweet boy! Just for a size update... yesterday she weighed 5lbs 10.6oz

The Big Reveal!

Well since Aubrie will eventually be coming home (date still yet unknown) we HAD to finish her room. With a combination of mine and Brandon's thoughts and designs, it turned out perfectly! It is so absolutely AUBRIE!

Aubrie Update

Well although we were really hoping to be bringing Aubrie home today, she had a bit of a rough day yesterday as we had to discover the hard way that perhaps she has a little reflux... so it will now be a couple of more days before we are able to come home... keep your fingers crossed for Tuesday or Wednesday... Branson came up to see Baby Aubrie today and took her her first Valentine. He was very eager to hold her this time! I can't wait til they are together forever!

Oh and as for her stats... she is now 5lbs3oz... :)

Superbowl Party

We joined our church friends for a Superbowl viewing party... the kids had an absolute great time playing together and kept each other entertained so the adults could watch the game. Of course I had to get the camera out since the kids were acting super goofy. They had a fantastic time making funny faces for the camera!

And of course it had to be done!!!!

Week 3

Aubrie weekly update...

She is doing amazing in the NICU and is one of the stars of the show... she weighs 4lbs 11oz as of today and as long as everything continues to go well, we are hoping that she gets to go home within the week. They want the babies to be at 35 weeks before they discharge and we hit that milestone on Thursday. There are a couple more hurdles for her to conquer, but with luck and prayers we are hoping to be home by Valentine's Day!
