Coast Trip

This weekend we went on a girls trip + Branson to the beach and Aquarium. Branson really had a great time with his Nonny (he keeps changing her name), Aunt TiTi and Aunt Ally.

Aunt TiTi was teaching Branson and Ally to fly a kite.

Branson enjoyed playing in the sand. Although he wasn't too keen on the idea of being buried at first, he soon enjoyed it! It also took him a little time to figure out that we could build a bigger sandcastle if he'd stop knocking it down!

Summer Celebration at Bethany

Last year we stumbled upon the Summer Celebration at our church and Branson had a great time, so we decided to make it a point to go again. Branson had fun sword fighting with the cotton candy paper rolls, going down the big slide and jumping off like he was diving into the water! He truly has no fear of jumping!!!

Finally Remembered the Camera!

Since we have year passes to Sea World, we decided on a whim the other day to head down there and surprise Branson! He was soooo excited to see SHAMU (He can actually pronounce it correctly now!) We called Grandma Tappan and she was able to join us which was a great treat too! Branson really loves his Grandma!

It was really hot outside, so we had to cool off with popsicles! YUMMY!

After Shamu, we went to see the sea lions and walrus again... This guy is huge!

Uh-Oh! Branson LOVES PEPSI!

Branson was a little less concerned about the dolphins this time and had fun feeding them fish! He still wasn't comfortable enough to touch them... maybe next time!

Ice Age

Sunday, Brandon and I got brave and finally took Branson to see a movie! We saw Ice Age and he absolutely loved it! I wish I could have gotten a picture during the movie of his intent gaze while simultaneously dipping his hand in the popcorn like an old pro! It was adorable!

Finally a new post!

We finally did something notable this weekend! Saturday Branson and I went to celebrate Nikolas and Brooklynn's birthdays. Branson had a great time playing with his friends. I only took a few shots, but more will follow when Becca gets them posted later!

Fun with Cousins.

Branson's cousins came to spend the day with him last week while Nana watched Branson. They had a blast playing at Burger King, in the sprinkler park and at the house.

Branson and Amy were coloring with chalk on the back porch... Branson wanted Amy to sit closer to him and kept moving through the chalk! He was filthy by the time they were done!

Sunset Tour and Hot Springs

We decided to tour the lake on the sunset cruise... although a storm was rolling in and the guide was really goofy, we had a good time! Branson was a little concerned about the Tundar, but his Daddy helped reassure him that he was safe.

Tuesday we rented a pontoon boat and went out on the lake on our own. I forgot my camera, but Jenn took lots of great pics (I just don't have them here at work!) After riding the boat, we headed to Hot Springs where we saw the sights, went up in the Mountain Tower and had dinner with a friend of ours from high school! (It was great to see you Sara!)
