A Pet Fish!

Branson finally was able to get a pet fish today. It really is the cutest thing ever - it doesn't require feeding or cleaning and will never need to be flushed! Really can't beat it! Branson named it all on his own - NEMO!

Weekend Fun!

This weekend we went down to Nana and Papa's house to welcome their new tenants! Papa's brother, Roger, and family moved in for a bit while they are getting reacquainted to Texas living. Branson loved playing with the kids and riding their toys!

Summer Days!

Today, Brandon, Branson and I were finally able to get out to the pool together and I was able to take some pictures. I also took a video but I'll have to post that later. Branson does such a great job jumping in and kick, kick, kick (ing). It's truly adorable!

Playdate with Harper

Branson and I went with Jackie and Harper to a playscape in Georgetown this morning. Branson had a good time playing with his friends. Of course, Jackie had the camera out and got a couple of great shots!

Sprinkler Park

So we've been the pool a couple of times in the past couple of weeks and Branson absolutely loves it!!! We tried to go Monday, but they close the pool for maintenance every Monday and so we went to the Sprinkler Park instead. I will post pool pics as soon as Brandon can make it there with us... Branson truly has no fear and jumps right in, so he needs lots of supervision!!!

Park Pics

We went to the park this weekend and enjoyed playing on a new playscape. We are always on the hunt for the perfect park!

Branson has finally become quite the climber! He is able to climb ladders and playscapes with only a little assistance.

Mother's Day Weekend

This weekend was an up and down ride! Friday my family all went to Lake Whitney State Park for a relaxing weekend of camping. On Brandon's way up to meet us, he had a little car accident that he says I do not need to chronicle... so we'll leave out the details. We'll just say that the boat and truck did not unfortunately make the whole trip... everyone was fine and we ended up making the most out of the weekend with the whole family. Here are some of the 100 (no, I am not exaggerating) pictures I took this weekend... What can I say... I can't help myself!

Heading down to the lake for a swim... too bad we didn't have a boat, the water was glassy and no one was on it! BUMMER~

Not the best parenting decision (man I seem to say that a lot!!!), but Brandon really enjoys eating wild dewberries so we let Branson pick and eat some. All was good except for the fact that they have thorns on the stems and Branson kept getting wrapped up in them! Poor Baby he looked like he was beat by the time we were done camping!!!

Branson loves his family very much and has the cutest names for everyone...

Papa and Nonna are well known by the blog world. What you might not know is that both Grandpas are Papa and so Branson distinguishes them by calling my dad Tractor Papa and Brandon's dad Boat Papa. Some may think he doesn't know the difference, but he sure does!!!

Then there's Aunt Courtney lovingly refered to as "Teetee", Aunt Ally or "Aya" and Uncle Justin who has two names depending on Branson's mood, "Tut-tut" and "nonuts". Yes, you read it right... Branson seems to juxtapose a lot of words, so he ends up calling anyone who ends with a "ton" - "nonuts". This unfortunately includes his uncle and all his cousins... oh well, he'll get it right eventually!
