Boating on the Lake

So, this weekend we trailered our boat all the way to the coast, just in case we needed to tow Lee's boat in from the water... Luckily we didn't end up needing it, so it stayed trailered. Well with the bad weather, we didn't really end up spending a lot of time on the boat at all and so on Sunday we decided to swing by Lake Travis and put the boat in (hey we needed to rinse off all the salty residue, didn't we?!) There isn't much water in the lake, but still enough for us to drive around. Branson has always loved the boat and this year is no different! Here are a couple of pics of the Little Captain as well as one from this time last year... How things change in a year!

Hunting Easter Eggs

Branson really enjoyed searching for Easter Eggs as well... He knew that they all had candy in them and in fact lovingly refers to the eggs themselves as "Candy". He was a little baffled when the eggs broke in his hands and confetti fell to the ground. He was a good sport when we showed him just what confetti eggs were all about!

Easter Baskets

Branson actually got three Easter baskets this year (though I only have pics of two). He was very excited about the toys and candy!

Port O'Connor

This year (like last year) we spent Easter weekend at Port O'Connor with Nana and Papa. Unfortunately, the weather was only good enough on Friday to go out fishing. We had a great time nonetheless. Branson was thrilled to go out on the boat - he even did a bit of fishing on his own!

Playing at the Park

On the way home, Branson and Brandon stopped by the park to show me how cool it was! We had a good time playing and taking a walk!

WHOA! That slide was too fast!

Water Fun!

They had a fun sprinkler park at Sea World for the little ones... Branson was 3 inches short of being able to ride ANY of the rides, but he did enjoy playing in the "wawa."
