Bluebonnets

Of course it is that time of year to take pictures with the bluebonnets. Last year we nearly missed them, so I decided to be sure we got a head start this time! Branson wasn't as poseable this year, but we got some good shots just the same!

Playing with Friends

It's good to have friends... and we are truly blessed in that area! Today our friends, Becca, Brooklynn, Nik and Walker came over to play and have pizza... We were able to get some great shots of the kids while they played!

Duck Pond

Saturday morning we took Nana and Dada to our new favorite place to feed the ducks! We all had a good time feeding the ducks and playing at the nearby park.

Natural Bridge Wildlife Reserve

This weekend Branson and I went down to spend some time with Nonna and Papa. Branson FINALLY got to see the "manmals" he has been asking about! He had a great time!

The zebras were a lot of fun because they would come right up to the window... Branson enjoyed feeding them. Every animal he dropped food for he said "thank you!" It was the cutest thing ever!

Of course the ostriches were really persistent and tried to eat the car! Branson thought it was hilarious! Glad we knew the horror stories about them so we were prepared with the windows up!

Branson got his Aunt Ally's help with the food at the petting zoo!

DUCKS!

So since Branson has not been able to go to school this week, but not quite sick either... he has been getting to play a lot with his parents. Yesterday we decided to go to the park to feed ducks. I must admit that I was a little afraid that the ducks were going to come after us, especially when the geese started running towards us! YIKES! Branson wasn't concerned at all and even tried to hand the food directly to the ducks... He had a great time!

Waco Zoo

So Sunday we decided to go to the Waco Zoo on the way home from Dallas for some more quality family time and since Branson is so excited about "manmals"!!! We told him we were going to the Zoo and he learned the word on the way... We got there and I swear he was jumping up and down...

This visit was so relaxing compared to the Dallas Aquarium the day before! We got there 30 minutes after it opened and basically had the whole place to ourselves... it was great. Branson was able to run around and see anything he wanted to!

Branson loved the "rhino" and "raf"... We bought him some little figurines of these two "manmals" so he could carry them around with him!

They also had a fun playground at the zoo that Branson really enjoyed! Okay... so Brandon and I enjoyed it too! This last picture in the ladybug and butterfly was funny to Brandon and I because we have a picture from years ago of Brandon and I in the same ladybug when we visited the Waco Zoo while in college....

Dallas World Aquarium

This weekend we made the trek to Dallas to see some friends of ours and a new baby. Patrick Hoppe is an adorable little guy and we were so lucky to get to spend all day on Saturday with him, his parents, and Branson's godfather, Ryon. We had a great time. Branson loved seeing the baby and was so sweet with him... gives me hope for our future!!!

While in Dallas, we decided to go to the Dallas World Aquarium (along with all the other families in Dallas!!!) It was a really cool place, but I guess everyone decided that it was the place to go on Saturday because it was so cold outside... it was way too crowded to really enjoy it all, but Branson loved the "Manmals" and made every bit of it worth it! Here's some of the best shots of the day!

Clearly Branson had a question about something so he turned to his Dada for an answer! Too cute!

Not really sure what was wrong with him in this picture, but it was too cute not to include!!!

Branson absolutely loved the "mingos"!
