Bath time!!!

After the Thanksgiving meal, Branson decided to take a walk around my parent's property... we were out in the back and my mom and I were talking about where things were going to go for my sister's possible upcoming event... when Branson started taking handfulls of dirt and placing them on his head. Nonna told him that he was going to get it into his eyes so he laid down in the dirt and continued putting it all over himself. Nonna said "I thought you were raising a boy, not a pig!" I asked Branson, "what does a pig say?" and he replied "oink!" It was truly priceless. Unfortunately, I didn't get my camera out to take a pic of the mess, but his first bubble bath was a fine reward!

You've created a monster!

Papa (my dad) desperately wanted Branson to LOVE riding the tractor (as he does), but until this weekend, Branson pretty much refused to be on it while it was moving... This weekend, Brandon took Branson out for a spin and now I can't keep him in the house... he keeps begging (and I mean bawling) to go "Side" to the "tactor". He will go through the house calling for his "PAPA" to take him...

Happy Thanksgiving

As has become the Hurst Family Tradition over the last three years, my family took some family photos (on timer) today as we all gathered to give thanks. We are very thankful that my little brother was able to come home for Thanksgiving from school in Arizona as we miss him very much!

Phone Time!

On the way to the Thanksgiving Meal, Branson couldn't wait to see his Papa! He was yelling for him so much that I decided we had to give him a call....

Playing outside again

Well Branson is sure getting what he wants these days in regards to playing outside... Brandon and I are learning how much fun it is to play out there with him even though we don't really have any outside toys yet. Today we took the ball and camera out and had some fun!!

While trying to get a picture of Branson with the dogs, Brandon told the two dogs to "sit" and Branson promptly followed directions! We all thought it was funny, even Branson!

Little Indian Boy

At daycare, Branson and the other kids dressed up like Indians and went down to have a small parade at Brandon's elderly home... everyone got a big kick out of it! Especially Brandon who did not know that they were coming. This pic was from after naptime, so Branson isn't in his full glory anymore...

Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells!

We were getting in the Christmas spirit this weekend with Christmas shopping and decorating... Branson's Nonna bought him a bell and proceeded to teach him to jingle it and sing his special part. Please forgive my singing on this video... the things you do as a parent! Branson wasn't in the mood this morning to jingle his bell, but at least he got his lines right!!
