Botanical Gardens

As I am such a great wife, Brandon was able to go hunting this weekend which left Branson and I home alone to shop all weekend (dangerous!) When Brandon came home on Sunday, we decided to go out and spend some quality time together as a family... Since living in the Austin area for the past three years, we really have not ventured out and tried many of the wonderful things that the city has to offer, so we decided to give the (free) Botancial Gardens a shot! It was really pretty and very busy! Branson had fun running around as well as being pushed in his stroller.
Branson loves playing with his dinosaurs at home and was excited to see the ones at the gardens.
Branson also loves "Fiss" and thought these big ones were really neat!
This was too cute to resist!
Keeping Branson out of the water was a chore!
He thought this "Tee" felt pretty weird!
I personally liked this shot!

Friday at the Park

Branson and Harper enjoyed playing at the park today. After the park we went to lunch and to the outlet mall. The kids do so well together. Branson has been spending so much time with Harper lately that when we were looking at pictures he pointed to her and said "H-per". It is cool to see that he knows who she is!

Cousins!!!

Meeting the new Baby!

We all went up to meet Preston this weekend. Branson was wonderful with the baby. He was so gentle and sweet. I think he wants a baby of his own!!!

Trick-or-Treating!

Branson was a pro at trick-or-treating! He would walk up to the house, say trick-treat and then gladly accept the candy with a Thank You! We were so proud of him!

Branson couldn't wait for us to open the candies before he was trying to eat them! We learned later that he doesn't really care for chocolate but sure loves starburst and smarties!

I wish we had a better picture of the Cowboy and Cowgirl, but this was the only one I got!

He was, needless to say, quite tuckered out by the end of the evening.

Daycare Halloween Party

One year's difference!!! How time flies!

This train is Branson's absolute favorite thing to do at school. Rosa pulled Branson and his little friend all the way from daycare to Sagebrook to trick-or-treat with the residents.

I had to take this picture because the whole family was wearing black boots on the same day!

Halloween Pumpkins!

A long time ago... Brandon told me that he never participated in the tradition of pumpkin carving... He now has 8 years experience and has almost perfected the art. These are our pumpkins this year!

Mine (the cat in the pumpkin) quickly rotted and the very flimsy cat fell over, so now I have just a pumpkin carved in a pumpkin... I will post pics of this next week when I post Branson's Halloween Pics. For now....
